Overview

Midsgrove was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1094, by Mbó̄ Ca̋chīb 'Zoin Flame' Cä̂ Dä̂ Yó̄kīs Whitney. The establishment of Midsgrove was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Mbó̄ Ca̋chīb 'Zoin Flame' Cä̂ Dä̂ Yó̄kīs Whitney struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Midsgrove as a prison colony.

Midsgrove was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Midsgrove is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Midsgrove is buildings are built arround a single restrictive baked earthen mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Midsgrove 's somewhat suffishent are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Midsgrove has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Midsgrove ’s streets. A look around Midsgrove has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Midsgrove long.
